Globe Prepaid's Creat Your Own with GoSakto

Globe Prepaid steps up the game by giving its subscribers the option of creating their own promo in their mobile phones.

At first, it sounded too vague to me. How will a telecommunications company give their clients the freedom to choose their own? It sound wonderful but is it really possible to create your own promo, set the number of days of validity, pick the amount of calls or SMS or internet usage?

The Davao Bloggers together with other friends in the media was more than thrilled the night Globe Prepaid introduced and explained to us their new promo that allows Globe Prepaid mobile users to decide and design their own promo--the GoSakto. The right promo to best suit your budget and all your mobile needs. You decide which promo you want to be included for you to avail. Say, you want to have 100 SMS to other network, unlimited calls to Globe and unlimited internet usage for 7 days, GoSakto certainly allows you to do all these! And the cute part? You can name this promo your own! You can even use your own name or create a new promo name, publish it in Facebook and have your friends register the promo you created. Very innovative, right?

Product Review: Human Nature's Tough Love

I am now in my fifth week of using this product and I am only but convinced.

I am indeed convinced about Human Nature’s new product, Tough Love and I can vouch that it is the best laundry detergent ever. I kid you not because my sister (yes, we do our own laundry at home) also got so convinced and hooked up into this because like me she didn’t have any allergic reactions to the smell. The downside of this detergent though is that you would want to eat some fruit salad after you laundry clothes!

Bulgogi Brothers Open in SM Lanang Premier

Here is a post for my adventurous-foodie-friends.

BULGOGI BROTHERS is finally open in SM Lanang Premier! To add in the line of fine dining and cuisine in Davao City is this modern Korean restaurant that will surely make you say 먹었습니다 (jal meogeosseumnida).

It was such a pleasure to be invited together with my fellow Davao Bloggers together with some of our friends in the local media to the pre-opening event of Bulgogi Brothers. So go ahead and imagine yourself entering a resto greeted by happy smiles, in a place with interiors decorated with Korean paintings, soft inviting couches, and the smell of food that will surely pin you to your seat. You will also notice the dining table decorated with metal chopsticks and if you need more eating utensils, a side drawer in your table will open you to supplies of napkin, fork, spoons so no need to request for that.

Create a Light: Ending a Year with the JCI

There is nothing better than to celebrate the year's success by giving back to the community and contributing to help address our problems with energy.

This opportunity came to me when the Junior Chamber International Philippines Duwaling Chapter invited me to join their community affair in Brgy.21-C. (It was already a few years since my last "community visit" so I got excited to the familiar breeze coming in that day.)We got in to our location and the people from Brgy.21-C was more than accommodating and they were all curious and interested about the project. They asked questions and anxiously waited for the actual installation in the volunteer house. Everyone including I was amazed after seeing how bright the final result is!

Even though I was already learning about the project during the orientation with Brgy.21-C residents, the Liter of Light project was given an in-depth view during our presscon with the media and bloggers that proceeded after the community installation.

The Liter of Light is a partnership project of JCIP and My Shelter Foundation that aims to provide an alternate daytime light source. Further, it helps reduce electric consumption through a grassroots-level solution which requires only recyclable materials (how green can this project get?). Lastly, it also helps avoid household accidents caused by candles and kerosene.

So enough stories and let me share what my lens took in the inspiring and productive day I had with JCIP Duwaling and Brgy.22-C residents.
