Come Home to JavaJive

Do not miss this in your places to go this holiday season. I'm sure you wont find any excuse not to visit this place because it is open 24/7, has a wide array of your favorite food and drinks, and plays all your favorite music which translates this cafe into your own music lounge.

The Davao Bloggers had the honor of being invited to the opening of the JavaJive a few weeks ago. Together with the other foodies and lifestyle bloggers, we were able to experience the hospitality and the great taste of best coffee and non-coffee drinks including their best-selling food items.

It was very wonderful to know that the company do not only support the local coffee industry (showcasing our very own Civet coffee and Durian flavors in their menu), but also supports the livelihood of many of our fellow Filipinos. We were informed that JavaJive uses materials that are locally produced (including their cups and even their furnitures) and support the local music industry (you may see local even indie bands playing in their lounge as well).

Well, I don't want to spoil all the fun, so let me tease you with some photos during the bloggers day-out with the JavaJive!

Interiors: look at those piano cases in the ceiling!

The welcome treat for the bloggers with our very own Dust Gaudan and mother-daughter tandem Mommy Vanessa and Danea Mabini

By the way, JavaJive is located at Centron Bldg, Quirino Avenue (near BBQ Boss and Patahian) here in Davao City. You make check their Facebook account in this link or tag them in twitter @TheJavaJive when you come to visit. Thank you again, JavaJive!

SM Lanang Premier Dancing Water Fountain

The newest and the hippest destination in Metro Davao Did not only open their doors to new and A-list stores but also the gateway for family hangouts. SM Lanang Premier is not the best place to bring kids and even kids-at-heart where everybody can enjoy an alley of dining places and adore a beautiful show of dancing fountain.

The launching of the eye-catching fountain was coupled with a dance mob where spectators enjoyed the beat of Psy's Oppa Gangnam Style. dancers numbering to almost a hundred came out of every corner of the park and entertained (not to mention surprise) the audience (including me) while they synchronized to the splash of water in the fountain.

Well, enough stories for I believe that it is best to experience it yourself. Do not miss out on visiting SM Lanang this yuletide season with your family and get wow-ed by the colorful and magical dancing fountain (and maybe another dance mob!) which would show every hour (bet viewed during evenings). You can also enjoy the fountain while dining at the newly opened diners and resto fronting the park.

Need more to convince you? Here, take these! :)

The Jones

A few days after my birthday last year, I was given the honor of taking the photos of the Jones Family. It was a wonderful collaboration with one of my fellow photographer but it felt better when the couple (Mark and Louise) was more than happy about the output.

Since its that joyous time of the year where family and friends are reunited and celebrate another blessed year, I would like to share to you, my readers, some of my favorite photos from the beautiful Sunday morning we had with the Jones.

To Mark, Louise and the Jones kids: thank you very much for allowing our lens to be part of your memories in the Philippines. Thank you also for allowing me to post these photos. I hope I could meet you again in the future and take another portrait of your family. God bless!
